Job Description:As a Lead Electrical Design Engineer, you will take charge of electrical design projects for high-tech data centre facilities. You will oversee all phases of design, ensuring that all electrical systems meet stringent performance, safety, and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical design process for data centre projects, including power distribution, lighting, and backup systems.

• Develop comprehensive design drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Conduct electrical load calculations and select appropriate equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers.

• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

• Provide technical support during construction phases, conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on data centres or critical infrastructure.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
